One of my goals for 2020 is to come to a better understanding of my place in the process of working toward the solution. Not just for the climate but also the countless injustices that have allowed us to get to where we are today. It's not just pollution, it's also the dangerous militaristic, racist, exclusionist policies of "First World" countries that are separating us, pitting us against one another rather than those in power who are truly guilty, and leaving our most vulnerable global community members to fend for themselves when their homes are destroyed from war and/or natural disaster.
Be a part of the solution, not a part of the [social and environmental] pollution.
