Teotihuacán | B&W FILM

In June, my sister came to visit for two weeks. We had just moved into our apartment, and I had just finished the black and white film photography class I was taking at La Escuela Activa de Fotografía. There was–and still is–so much I hadn't seen of Mexico City, so we took the opportunity to explore parks, museums, archeological sites, and other aspects of the city together.

One of the days, we went to see the ancient Mexica city of Teotihuacán, where the pyramids of the sun and moon seem to rise out of the valley as part of the surrounding mountains. The sun was strong, overexposing my film (and shoulders), but the effect only does justice to the day.
