Oaxaca Blog 1

I am spending winter quarter in Oaxaca, México, and today marks my first full week. I'm taking classes at a language school, participating in their full cultural immersion program to learn as much as possible during my time here.

School keeps me super busy throughout the week– I start the day with 5 hours of class solamente en español, then 3 hours of cultural classes (I think I'll just keep taking the salsa class over & over) in the afternoon (also 100% in Spanish). Today is my first day with no plans, just time to relax and enjoy the warmth of the sun on my skin.

I love it here. I've already learned so much in just the first week and I can't wait for what is to come.
